We are partnering with a Pharma Company with a strong international presence and an ambitious growth strategy. Operating in a complex and highly regulated environment, the company is currently seeking a Global Strategy& Portfolio Manager to join its team in Barcelona.
Job description:
What you will do Define the company’s long-term strategic direction in collaboration with the Company management Lead annual and multi-year strategic planning cycles, ensuring alignment across business units and functions.
Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, competitive dynamics and potential growth opportunities.
Develop business scenarios, risk assessments and mitigation plans to support executive decision-making.
Lead strategic transformation initiatives in response to changing market conditions.
Monitor the progress, KPIs and business impact of key strategic projects.
Oversee the company’s portfolio of strategic projects, programmes and investments.
Ensure portfolio decisions remain aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities and value-creation objectives.
Lead and coordinate the analysis and selection of current and future portfolio opportunities.
Coordinate the preparation of robust forecasts and business cases for strategic projects, investments and potential growth opportunities.
Assess financial impact, strategic fit, risks and resource requirements.
Work closely with the senior leaders across the organization.
Prepare high-quality presentations, business cases and strategic analyses for executive-level decision-making.
Represent the function in senior leadership meetings when required.
Coordinate inputs from Finance, Operations, Business Development, Innovation and Commercial teams.
Provide clear reporting on strategy execution and portfolio performance to internal and, when necessary, external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Experience
Minimum 10 years' experience in Business and Strategy Consulting.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly recommended.
Demonstrated experience in managing projects, preparing presentations and in-depth analysis in Excel.
Education
Degree in Business, Engineering or Scientific background.
Languages
Fluent English.
Tools
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point.
