About the client:
We are working with a leading European specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of central nervous system disorders (CNS) currently seeking a Analytical Development Technician R&D. The position is based in Barcelona and offers a hybrid work model.
Job Description:
Prepare and analyze the necessary samples in accordance with procedures under development or approved procedures, using the necessary analytical techniques to complete the analytical development and obtain reliable data for the registration and commercialization of new pharmaceutical specialties.
Major Accountabilities:
Participate in the setup and validation of analytical methods.
Perform the necessary actions to maintain the proper functioning of assigned instruments and equipment.
Report the obtained results to the technician in charge of the project.
Participate in the management of materials, reagents, and waste according to current regulations.
Record raw data according to GMP principles and current SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Participate in drafting department documents.
Immediately report any detected incidents to ensure the proper functioning of the laboratory.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical development laboratory within the pharmaceutical or a related industry.
Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) in Chemistry, or Higher Technician in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical, biotechnological, and related products.
Knowledge of analytical techniques: HPLC, UPLC, Dissolution Testing (TD), UV, GC, IR, etc.
Knowledge of sample preparation techniques.
Knowledge of MS Office.
Knowledge of GxP.
