To support our expansion, we are looking for a BMS Integration Engineer passionate about energy efficiency, automation, and sustainability, who wants to make a real impact in the Iberian market.
Role Mission
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will be the technical lead for the implementation and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) projects for our clients, with a primary focus on the Portuguese market.
Your mission will be to ensure the successful completion of installations, delivering projects in strict compliance with technical specifications, respecting defined timelines, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Technical Preparation: Analyze project requirements and perform technical preparation prior to the installation of BMS systems and energy efficiency solutions.
Coordination & Planning: Efficiently plan work phases, ensuring technical readiness and proper synchronization of field tasks.
Field Support: Provide expert technical assistance and troubleshooting to installation teams and subcontractors directly on-site.
Integration & Programming: Configure and connect HVAC systems with the control software using specific network protocols and programming languages.Quality Assurance: Validate the correct operation of installed systems and ensure they meet the company's energy-saving and reliability standards.
Profile Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Thermal, Energy, Industrial, or similar).
Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience working with building energy performance, HVAC systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
Technical Skills:
Solid knowledge of building energy systems and HVAC control.
Proficiency in network and industrial communication protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, KNX).
Programming experience (ideally SQL, LUA, or similar languages).
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Languages:
Portuguese: Native or Bilingual (Mandatory for interacting with the Portuguese market).
English: Good professional working proficiency (for internal communication within the multinational company).
Spanish or French: Highly valued as a plus.
