Job description:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated, flexible and pro-active Pricing Manager to join the Pricing Team and support the growth of the Department and contribute to its success. The role will report into the Pricing Director.
The Pricing Manager will play a critical part in supporting the Department and driving the company’s profitability and competitiveness through comprehensive pricing strategies and analysis. You will collaborate closely with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to evaluate pricing structures, optimize profitability and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management, support, training and coaching of a team
- Ongoing review of Brand pricing strategies and recommending correct price positioning forglobal SRP alignment to ensure pricing strategies align with the financial goals and objectives
- Management and co-ordination of the review of yearly price increases with the main stakeholders for assigned Brands
- Assessing the impact of price adjustments
- Managing promotions and associated processes
- Reviewing price positioning on new product launches and assessing COGs impact
- Competitive analysis, FX reviews and general reporting
- Support the team in the creation and maintenance of order forms and price uploads
- Support in improving efficiency in billing systems and pricing processes
- Support in improving the control of pricing data and distribution
- Assist in the establishment and growth of the department through supporting the roll-out of new processes cross functionally
- Develop an extensive understanding of our customers and product assortment to become a point of contact for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service
- Manage the communication of pricing internally and externally
- Identify long term system solutions to enable better work flow
- Manage new customer creation process
Requirements:
- Have previous pricing experience within the luxury retail beauty industry as an advantage
- Have successful experience of managing and coaching a team
- Be process oriented
• Have excellent analytical ability, be numerate and have a high attention to detail
• Be proactive with excellent problem solving skills
• Be agile with a flexible attitude, willing and able to manage multiple and potentially
competing priorities
• Have excellent/advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Be service driven, organised with a high work ethic and dedication
• Have excellent communication and influencing skills
• Have ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and exercise judgement
• Have flexibility to work within different time zones (UK/Europe/USA)
• Educated to degree level - Commercial experience with a medium to large sized retail or consumer goods business (Nice to have)
