Job description:
We are looking for a pro-active Reporting and Consolidation Director to join our Finance department and support the growth of our group.
This position will report to the Finance Director and his/her mission will be to ensure permanent IFRS compliance as well as internal and external consolidated financial reporting (consolidated management report).
The successful candidate will be able to drive changes, give direction and manage system changes and administration in autonomy. He/She needs to have strong technical skills and experience to manage the existing team and be focused on achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Month end / Year end, in collaboration with the FP&A and Finance controllers of each company:
- Coordination of the reporting provided by all of our companies into our centralized reporting system
- Role of Finance controller for holding companies
- Group calendar and deadlines management
- Analysis and review of the reporting sent by our subsidiaries
- Inter-company reconciliation
- Consolidation IFRS
- Balance sheet, Net debt and working capital forecast, covenant compliance
- Consolidated analysis on sales (volume/price effects,…), gross margin, SG&A and Balance Sheet
- Deal with Audit requests
Budget:
- Coordination of the budget and forecast calendar (simulations and modifications)
- Definition of the main consolidation assumptions
Systems:
- Project: Improve and finalize our reporting system for consolidation and budget simulation
- Coordination of the accounting teams
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified with experience, with broad and strong management and financial accounting background
- Consolidation IFRS, multi currencies and transfer prices
- Management reporting
- Management of a technical consolidation team
- Management of a reporting team – monthly reporting
- Inventory consolidation
- IBM Planning analytics or similar reporting/consolidation/budgeting tool
- Hands on and on top of reporting related questions
- System / ERP proficient
- Confident IT user – Strong Excel skills and project management
- Highly proficient at accounts preparation and financial analysis to get things right first time with attention to detail
- Multitasking and open to additional responsibilities
- Proactivity and problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and exercise judgment
- Respect of strict deadlines and processes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills
