About the client:
We are seeking a Demand Planner Analyst to join one of our clients in the pharmaceutical sector. The position is based in Barcelona and offers a hybrid work model.
Your Mission
The key purpose of this role is to drive improvements in Forecast Performance through excellence in operations of the affiliates forecast development and synergies and alignment in statistical production processes.
Your Major Accountabilities
- Demand Planning technical focal point at global level, centralizing all affiliate demand across the organization.
- Act as the Demand Planning lead for both B2B and B2C international business, covering own production and CMO-related demand.
- Ensure all account managers are actively involved in the forecast cycle, updating demand on a monthly basis with a 24–36 month time horizon.
- Support account managers by analyzing deviations from the previous demand cycle, identifying gaps or changes that explain variances at the business unit level.
- Provide global visibility and performance analysis for distributor forecasts.
- Lead the S&OP consensus demand process, signing off monthly forecasts.
- Support supply/demand planners by validating customer-level forecasts through the S&OP consensus process on a monthly basis.
- Work closely with CMO supply planning specialists and PMOs to ensure accurate forecasts are submitted monthly, promoting cross-functional communication, enterprise-first decision making, and analysis of OOS risks, inventory coverage, gaps, and forward projections.
- Establish and maintain an effective centralized forecast support function for international business.
- Prepare monthly forecast accuracy and performance reports, as well as quarterly mid-term outlooks for S&OP demand reviews.
We Would Like You To Have
- 1 year of experience in Demand roles.
- Fluent in english.
- Highly numerate with demonstrated data management and analytical capabilities as role involves management of significant amounts of data.
- Experienced in general tools (MS Access and Excel) and supply chain management forecasting/ERP systems (SAP and IBP).
- Understanding forecasting and planning processes linked to SAP and on non-SAP planning tools.
- Demonstrated customer awareness.
- Experience in working cross functionally and remotely with multiple stakeholders.
- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges. Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment.
