Role Overview:
We are looking for a Sys Ops L2 to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting the airlines' fleets by reviewing our monitoring systems and applying updates and fixes through Ansible. You will interact with the Infra team to build and deploy scripts and tools to fix and improve our environments. You will also work with other team members and departments to plan interventions and get new hardware ready for deployment in our fleet.
Your day-to-day will look like:
- Be in charge of the remote support for airlines' fleets
- Check and review our monitoring systems to detect problems
- Deploy already-made fixes through Ansible to keep the fleet up & running 24/
- Build and deploy simple scripts to fix bugs in Linux environment
- Prepare new hardware (Linux servers) for new deployments
- Interact with the INFRA and PRODUCT area to explain new problems and solutions
- Coordinate fixes with co-workers globally located
- Cooperate experience to improve systems and processes
Who Are We Looking For?
Hard Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years experience with Linux OS (ssh, data transfer, log analysis, networking)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Grafana, Graylog, and Kibana
- A minimum of 2 years of experience automating daily tasks and processes
- An experience with Python/Go and Bash scripting.
- You feel comfortable with our daily stack: docker, Ansible & git.
- It’s a plus to have some experience with Jira, Confluence & KVM
- You can troubleshoot hardware and network issues.
- Nice to have hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services and its tools.
- Advanced English & Spanish
- Travels: This position includes regular flight
